| During the week, Kendrick had been working on one of the latest state-of-the-art CBTC (Communication Based Train Control) projects in the US. On weekends, he has been helping to restore a mechanical interlocking in East Stroudsburg (Pennsylvania) which was installed in 1908. [He has been working on other things, too!] An excellent example of a Busman's Holiday (look it up online) - but with over a hundred year's spread in technology. |
